Leanna Alvarez Gomez is a rising second-year student at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, where she is a member of the UMKC Law Review.
Leanna earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a minor in Business Economics, from the University of Florida. She also earned her Master’s degree in Criminal Justice from Florida State University. Before law school, Leanna worked as a Human Resources intern for the City of Port St. Lucie, Florida, where she gained initial experience with workplace policies, employee relations, and benefits-related matters.
