In late February, Business Journal reporter Jim Davis accompanied Jim Devine on a walking tour of Downtown Lee’s Summit — where our community’s ongoing revitalization efforts were highlighted.

The tour included a review of the new construction project at the old City Hall site, a meeting with interim city manager Steve Arbo, a visit to the newly revitalized Hartley Block and discussion with Billy Hammerly of FPC, as well as a visit to FPC’s latest project, the Midland Capital building where LSEDC investor candid marketing agency will office. LSEDC Investor Andy Haynes of Haynes Benefits wrapped up the tour, sharing his story of moving his boutique law firm to Lee’s Summit rather than the Plaza.
